Is this your first visit to Mt. Zion? It is not easy visiting a new church for the first time. You ask, “Do I belong here?” “Am I really welcome?” “Will the people be unfriendly or too friendly?” “Will they ask me to speak?” “Will it be easy to leave if I do not enjoy it?” “Will they ask me for money?” “Will my kids enjoy it?” “How should I dress?” “Am I welcome if I don’t believe?” In an effort to answer these questions, continue to read.
Visitors are our very important guests. When you arrive for the Worship Service, you may park in the parking lot across the street or on the street. There is additional parking in a lower parking lot on the Meeting Street side of the church. Use the main entrance to enter. A handicapped accessible entrance is also available at the awning. Restrooms are available upstairs and downstairs. If you are in need of transportation to the church, please call 803-286-7171.
Friendly greeters will meet you at the entrance and answer any questions you have. You will be provided with a smile and Worship Bulletin. The dress is casual and comfortable. We utilize a contemporary style of music. The normal length of Worship Service is one hour and forty-five minutes.
We offer practical, relevant preaching and teaching. The pastor’s message is Bible-based and often includes interesting quotes from R&B songs, contemporary people, and the latest news stories and movies.
On your visit, we ask that you complete a guest registration form to allow Pastor James-Daniels to thank you for your visit and maintain contact. After the Pastor’s message, you will have an opportunity to make Christ your leader and/or become a member of Mt. Zion. This is strictly a voluntary decision.
Giving is a part of worship and it is not mandatory. We offer our Worship Service as a gift to you.
Thank you for your interest!
